Secretly I have always liked “This Corrosion” by The Sisters of Mercy, a song from their second album Floodland.
I encountered the 10 minutes version on YouTube. Yes yes, they do have a drum computer (these ARE the eighties!) called “Doktor Avalanche” and a ‘Blade Runner’ kind of video (these ARE the eighties!) and they asked James Richard “Jim / Streets of Fire / Bat out of Hell” Steinman for the production … well, here you have it …
